About Me

Meet Tim, this handsome boy came to us as a stray. Sadly like many that come to us via the dog warden Tim was petrified and in poor condition.

Tim has been taking some time to recover and find his feet with us and he is now at the point where we believe we can work with his new potential family and adapt him into the loving home that he deserves. Tim still has a long way to go to be the confident outgoing boy we know he can be but he will need patient and understanding owners, with his world kept small to begin with and then, over time to develop his social skills and positive experiences.

Tim, is looking for a predictable peaceful adult only home, where he can feel safe and enjoy snoozing in his cosy bed. Tim has been very rewarding for the team, with his rehabilitation, and we know he will continue to develop in his confidence with this new family. Tim may be a shy and anxious boy, but he makes friends quickly when he trusts you and will show you his cheeky affectionate side. Tim could live with another dog that wouldn’t mind showing him the ropes in his family home. Due to Tim’s unknown history and him being a sighthound with potential previous old working scars it’s best he isn’t rehomed with cats or small furries.

Tim will need treating like a puppy in his new home, he needs to learn the basics such as toilet training, but we think he will pick this is up very well. Tim isn’t a dog that would cope living centrally in a busy city, or taken to overwhelming new environments. This is something that may come in the future, but for now he is looking for his new family to take things at his pace and allow him to settle and decompress from his recent ordeal.

Tim will be really rewarding and a very loyal affectionate companion. Is he the one for you?
